So how is everybody doin'? [Way to be generic when re-greeting everyone, Agent K.]
[Private to Import Security Personnel | Text]
I just got back. I've been told to disperse your new uniforms.
I also have somethin' important, so make it quick.

[He doesn't think it's been peachy but he's also capable of being a dick.]

Why, that's absolutely corking stop.
Much better than a telegram stop.
Now I have no risk of mistaking the name Robin with the bird robin, for a capital letter will distinguish the two stop. [Not that his has ever been a problem for him before, but Bertie thinks about such things.]

[On the other end of this comm, Kay has the most flat expression imaginable as he's typing "exciting". Though the truth is if he were from Bertie's time? He'd probably be trying to do something very similar.]

[It's supposed to be a question, but he's working out one punctuation mark at a time.]
How will you know when my sentence is finished.
[Also supposed to be a question.]
no subject
I'll know the same way you know mine is finished.

I say, it's like a typewriter
!
[He's still working on punctuation.]
A typewriter that immediately sends my typed pages from writer to reader without requiring an editor and publisher and a printing press and all that work that is usually required to join writer to reader.

[Some messages could really stand some post-editing. Bertie's actually doing pretty well in comparison there.]
no subject
Doing swell!!! :)
So glad that you're back!

Yuppers! We got a lot done all together, all thanks to everyone's help!

[He doesn't actually think Wander would willingly stay out of trouble. He likes adventure too much.]
no subject
Nope!
And what've you been up to?
[It's only polite to ask about the other person about their trip!]
no subject
Not much.
[He's been up to a shit tonne. A metric one.]
no subject
Even if you didn't get anything special done you still had a great time back home!!
Bet you're excited to be back, huh?
no subject
I'm a little bit of a home body. But the fresh air is nice. New York gets kinda rough.
[He can be honest about that much.]
no subject
You from the city? What's it like??
no subject
[That's super specific, Kay.]
Busy. I like the food carts and the different people. I like that it's easy to get lost in a crowd. People are loud and keep to themselves at the same time. The buildings are tall.
no subject
That sounds super awesome! There must be so much to do!
But you don't get too lost all the time, right?
[Because getting lost isn't always fun.]
no subject
New York has a lot of subways and a lot of neatly lined up blocks. It usually works pretty well.
no subject
You couldn't be more right! We can't always be in control of how things are, but it all depends on how you deal with it. New York sounds like a lovely place to live the way you describe it.
It's really that big?
no subject
[He probably knows how many are on a floor because of the resort.]
no subject
Really?? That big? There must be tons of people living in that! The biggest building I ever seen was a shopping mall!
And that was wider than it was tall!
[That's not to say that he never saw a tall building, just that they never reached one hundred floors.]
no subject
[He does love the city. And even when he tried the quiet life, his heart missed what it couldn't clearly remember.] Maybe one day you'll get the chance to see something like it.
no subject
Definitely! I hope we'll come across a planet like that one day!
Oooooor you can take us to New York! What do you say?
