[This man has an accent too, German, but it's nowhere nearly as thick as Niko's Serbian one is. He could speak German and let the translator take care of it, but so far he's met enough "standard" speakers that he can handle himself.]

Hallo, I'm Dr. Visscher [pronounced "Fisher"] and I'm new. I am the sort of new where I have no idea where anything is yet and I keep getting turned around. So if anyone could help me to the clinic when they have a chance I would greatly appreciate it.

Speaking of which, I'm a general practitioner. I'll be working for the resort and town. I am a human, but I've never been to Earth. Any Earth, of any sort. I know there are a few of them out there.

It's quite a beautiful world. I already miss it terribly.

Ah, yes! The Blackmoon celebration. It was quite a lively party! [♥] Dancing in the streets, lights everywhere... I certainly hope that celebrations are more common here than they are on Spira. I'd love to see more of them.

The people here are quite varied! I suppose that's to be expected, but there is much more variety than I'm used to. It is normally very peaceful... [He trails off. He doesn't say it, but there's a definite but there that he doesn't go into. In fact, he continues on along that line.] I am a healer who works independent of the clinic, and so far, I see more small cases than very serious ones.

None taken! On the contrary, I appreciate it. [Braska laughs lightly.] I've been hoping the same, myself. I'd much rather be bored than for my services to be constantly in need.

I have to admit, though, it's been many years since I've been working like this. I took on a different responsibility ten -- no, twelve years ago, now, and though it was definitely similar in principle, the day-to-day operations have much less in common.

Yes, one that still involved helping people, but it also involved a lot of travel and battle. And I got to see the world with my dear friends. Not the true purpose of the journey, but what made all the difference for me.
