Hello, my name is Ashe. [ His accent is heavy, as if he is from somewhere around France.] I have been here a week or so now and have not yet spoken over this strange network. I decided to change that. I really have nothing of interest to share. It is simply bad form not to at least say hello to new neighbors and I seem to have been rude.
[ He is shuffling a deck of cards.] I thought I might ask those who have been here longer where places of interest and things to do between the mundane of the days would be?
Thank you. [ He tipped his head and cut the feed.]

[And then, more genuinely,] I mean... I'd love to see it, but I don't wanna intrude or anything.

[ He chuckles.]
I don't mind in the least. My magic is not that exciting though.

Where should I meet you?

To Action~!
[ He disconnects and makes his way to meet her, of course it takes a bit since he got lost once.]

But that's okay. She's keeping an eye out for Ashe, so that if he doesn't see her first, then she'll stand up and approach to catch his attention.]

Sorry if I kept you waiting.

Nah, it's okay. I grabbed us a table. [She leads the way over to it.] I'm not really one for drinking, and I figured you'd probably want more room than what we'd get at the bar.

He nodded a bit and pulled put a chair]
I don't drink much either. It just seemed a fine place to meet. And yes, the table was a wise idea. [ He pulled out the deck of cards only after he pulled out a chair for her. His mama raised him right okay
up until he knocked up and married a junkie... but hey everyone has problems.]no subject

I take it manners are gone where you are from? [ he asked as he started to shuffle the deck.]

[She doesn't know what to do with her hands. She feels self-conscious, like she should be doing... something. She just leaves her hands where they lay on the table, drumming her fingers lightly out of nerves.]

[ He means LA but his LA is ... pretty much hell. He had spoke as he shuffled the cards lifting them up.] And pick a card too.

[ He spoke as he motioned to the card.] Memorize it but do not show me.
[ he sat the deck before her.] Then shuffle it back in, and do continue.

Meanwhile, she's not really sure what to talk about, so she just... rambles.]
The City of Angels... um... Los Angeles, right? [She has to remember the history she's been able to glean through what cultural osmosis she had.] Where I'm from... It's called the Boneyard now. Angel's Boneyard. It's deep in NCR territory. Er... That'd be the New California Republic. [A beat.] There's a group based out of the Boneyard... The Followers of the Apocalypse. Doctors and teachers and scientists and the like, working together to try to make life better for people. They have a university there... I think it's the only one I've ever heard of, after the War.

[ He nodded listening to her speak. He looked a little worried. For the world to have gone that way it must have been a terrible way to grow.]
When was the war?
