[Agent K really isn't sure that what he's given is accurate so far. Oh the race is- he knows that is going to happen eventually. But when he gets his own invitation he's more than a little baffled.]

So I just got this invitation. [There's the sound of beeping as he's reading through his comm.] Anyone else gonna take 'em up on it?

[Because he's not sure if he will or not. After that incident with the the slick streets, though, a good race might be fun. It's his kind of thing.]

I shall simply have to content myself with cheering on the brave jockeys from the sidelines. [Probably for the best, since he doesn't know the first thing about riding anything that doesn't come with an on-off switch.]

That's a relief.

Hours spent sitting astride a powerful animal sounds rather dangerous, and not something I have any experience in.

Do you know who invited you, or was it anonymous?

It's not so bad.

I'm not sure who did it. Someone in the village. Must have seen me on the news. [Which he sounds unhappy about- he still hates having a public image.]

Perhaps it's the security uniform. I'm told uniforms sometimes have a peculiar effect on people.

Or at least someone pretty entertained by me.

Ah... well, yeah. I've heard that, too.

[He can't imagine that would be the case with him, though.]

So, what sort of beast are you being--quite literally--saddled with?

Something long legged, I know that. More leg than there's room to sit. I'm probably gonna need a ladder.

That should give you an edge in the race at least. With long legs it should be very swift, if difficult to mount.

It's a multiple terrain race. So it might not do so well in some places. We'll see. I don't have my heart set on winning. It just seems like a good thing to occupy my time with.
