[The subject of this video isn't Boone. Instead, it's the outer fence around the village. The only sound for a few moments is of a dog quietly whining, but then Boone speaks.]

Came across this not long ago.

["This" being evidence of some pretty strong explosions happening outside the fence. There are a couple of spider legs just lying around nearby, but nothing else.]

Fence seems fine, but what I wanna know is who or what the hell is blowing things up outside it. You don't need to blow up a spider to kill it.

Not a lot bothers Rex, but he's been doing this ever since we got here. Whining, keeping away from the fence. I've known him to run straight into groups of deathclaws before, so I figure if he's spooked, I probably don't wanna get too close to whatever it is that's spooking him. Saw some shapes moving around through the trees earlier, but I couldn't make out what they were. Tried watching through my scope, but it didn't help. Just... sort of looked like the trees were moving.

[Which is ridiculous really, because he knows the damn trees aren't moving.]

Just figured I'd give everyone a heads up, anyway. Not sure if it's happening in other places yet, but if you see or find out anything let me know.

Keep looking. Call it a hunch, but I think whatever I saw in the trees is important.

[He's never seen things moving through the trees like that before, and Rex has never been so afraid. Tauriel says there are trees by the fence where she is too, so it wouldn't be crazy to assume that whoever or whatever caused the explosions ran back into the trees afterwards before being seen. Either way, he thinks that even if the movement in the trees isn't related, it's better to consider everything than to dismiss it entirely.]

That I can do. [She pauses, about to cut the communication since there is work to be done, but then stops herself.]

You think it's more than spiders?

[He sighs, glancing over at Rex again uncertainly.]

Honestly, I'm not sure what to think. Probably wouldn't have made a point of telling everyone so soon if Rex had been okay.

[All he knows now is that it's happened in other places, and nobody has seen anything.]

We don't know that they're only targeting spiders. Could be more explosions happened away from the fence, but I'm not really in a hurry to head out there alone without knowing what we're dealing with.

That's one of the reasons why I was hesitant to make an announcement as well, at least until I knew more... Still as this is not an isolated incident, I think you made the right decision. We must be on our guard more than ever. Especially if something has the ability to make quick work of those creatures.

[She is worried, more so because she is still not used to seeing this kind of power.]

At least now there's gonna be more people looking into it. People who probably know more about this stuff than I do.

[Explosives? Not his thing.]

We can throw around some ideas and see what we come up with. If we've got more people, we can cover more ground once we do head out.

It's a start, yes. The more eyes and ears we have open the better. Has anyone else reported anything similar, or are we the lucky ones?

Looks like we're the only ones so far, but there's a lot of fence to cover. Someone could find something later, but I'm hoping they don't unless it's actually useful.

[What Boone's looking at? Not useful. All he knows is that some spiders got blown up and that there were shapes in the trees. He can't work off that information alone. None of them can.]

I'll redouble my efforts at patrolling then. Maybe we will find other evidence of whatever this was. I'll report back with my findings.

[She didn't want to say attack because she was still uncertain just what had happened here. The whole thing made her uneasy however. Currently she was still armed using only her bow but thoughts of raining in heavier ordinance was beginning to cross her mind.]

Alright. I'll be here for a bit. I guess if you catch up to me I'll know you didn't find anything between here and there.

[And Charon is out patrolling too, so if there's anything to find they'll find it. He supposes he should really start moving again soon, but he's half convinced that if he leaves this spot he'll miss something.]

[She can understand well the value of him staying put in case something else happens,even if she does not think whatever happened will occur in the same place twice. Since she and Charon are mobile, there is no reason for boon to move yet.]
