[The subject of this video isn't Boone. Instead, it's the outer fence around the village. The only sound for a few moments is of a dog quietly whining, but then Boone speaks.]
Came across this not long ago.
["This" being evidence of some pretty strong explosions happening outside the fence. There are a couple of spider legs just lying around nearby, but nothing else.]
Fence seems fine, but what I wanna know is who or what the hell is blowing things up outside it. You don't need to blow up a spider to kill it.
Not a lot bothers Rex, but he's been doing this ever since we got here. Whining, keeping away from the fence. I've known him to run straight into groups of deathclaws before, so I figure if he's spooked, I probably don't wanna get too close to whatever it is that's spooking him. Saw some shapes moving around through the trees earlier, but I couldn't make out what they were. Tried watching through my scope, but it didn't help. Just... sort of looked like the trees were moving.
[Which is ridiculous really, because he knows the damn trees aren't moving.]
Just figured I'd give everyone a heads up, anyway. Not sure if it's happening in other places yet, but if you see or find out anything let me know.

At any rate, if your dog is the type to run head first into Deathclaws but wont go near the fence, than whoever or whatever is behind this needs to be taken care of soon.

[He frowns to himself.]
Still don't get why they'd be blowing up spiders, though.
[Maybe they just really hate spiders?]

It is a possibility we're dealing with someone who isn't in their right mind. Someone not interested in acting logically.

[He still isn't sure, though. Would Rex be acting up if that was all it was?]
Back home we had a gang running loose, called themselves Powder Gangers. They were just escaped convicts who got hold of explosives. Rex never had a problem with those. Unless... maybe this is some alien he doesn't like the smell of.
[He doesn't know much about the aliens around here, so maybe there is one that would put Rex on edge. He has to remember where they are.]

Aliens. [He hums thoughtfully. Well, it seems like the only thing that makes sense right about now.] It's possible. This might have been some kind of warning.
[Because otherwise blowing up spiders seemed pointless. But blowing up spiders right outside the village seemed like a pretty decent warning.]

[He remembers Bertie crashing into his room for safety, having offended an alien without meaning to.]
Easy enough to offend an alien if you don't know what the hell you're doing. If this is more about sending a warning than about killing spiders, they could end up targeting people here.
[And if it was only a warning, it would explain why there were no more traps around the fence- evidence of one explosion is enough to get the point across.]
