[Grainne's sitting when the feed comes on, her hair carefully brushed and plaited, and with a pensive look on her face.]

The town seems quiet after all the excitement, though I still see the skeletons from time to time outside of the bounds. I wonder if it is safe to go exploring now. I did not get very long to explore this world before the quarantine came.

As much as I would like to go on my own, it would not be wise. Would anyone wish to accompany me on a several day expedition?

Thank you. Do you know of interesting places to see? I haven't been out of the village much.

Depends on what you like for interesting? Most of it is pretty quiet, but I like that for what it is.

Something nice to look at. Perhaps a mountain trail with a beautiful view.

I know a few places like that. They would take the teleporter to get near to, and then some walking.

That would be perfect. Are they long walks? I would bring food and make a day of it.

Sure. I know some places where the trails stay pretty clear. We should take a tent just in case it gets after dark- the skeletons and the creepers usually can't figure out what to do with someone behind fabric.

They do not seem very bright, no. If we take a tent, we should take one of the lights as well. It should help.

The museum gives guides a sort of torch. You snap it and it turns on, it stays lit for a very long time and won't burn up. [We're talking a "year" worth of long time.] That should work for lighting.

That sounds adequate. Let me know if I need to arrange for any addition supplies.

Skeletons?

[Here's a new face, completely taken aback that statement.]

What kind of skeletons are you talking about?

The kind that practice archery. Were you not here for the spawner outbreak? You can still see some on the outside of town at night.

I only got here a few days ago. No one told me about skeleton archers. [This was only enough time to find a place to live and plan out her business here.]

You sure those were just skeletons, not just some aliens that look like that?

[She's worried that they might actually have been a type of DomZ that she hadn't encountered, since most of them have a skeletal look to them. But actually appearing as full-bodied ones? It may not be likely, but she can't rule out that possibility.]

They were most definitely not aliens. They left behind bones once defeated and caught fire in bright natural light. What else they were, it is up for debate as this world has a strange way with science.

Huh. [That really is unusual.] Can I have a look at those skeletons?

You could try staying up after sundown. I am sure some will appear outside of town. I don't know how else you could see one.

I'll keep that in mind. [She lets out a brief laugh as she smiles.]

They'll show up even if I stay right by the walls?

Probably, but I haven't tried it myself. I just see them sometimes when I am out walking.

Got it. I'll see if I can slip outside for a while next night I'm free.

I wish you good luck. Hopefully the skeletons will not see you. They are not hard to avoid, though.
