Mimicry is something Gallifreyan infants do, copying all sorts of sounds they hear--animal calls, computer beeps, door chimes, footsteps, bells, the creak of furniture--before they learn to speak.

I can mimic an animal. Or a whistle. Give me a sound to use as a signal and I'll copy it.
