Their identities won't be revealed until known family has been contacted. One last picture has been recovered from the explorer's communication device. Experts in security are still debating about whether or not a strange shape in the photograph is a trick of the light or local wildlife not previously encountered. The Blood Pack crime organization was suspected as a culprits due to their ability to smuggle smaller explosives in. With the conference in process, the Black Sun has been active in the area and is also suspect; however, the trace accelerant from the explosion is inconsistent with any known weapon. Isolationists claim that the incident highlights the risk that outside universes may introduce dangerous materials to the black market. The investigation into the matter is currently ongoing. Residents are currently encouraged to report any suspicious activity to security. Formal diplomatic talks have temporarily been put on hold while the source of the explosions is under investigation. Personal security for the ambassadors has increased and tensions are running high as rumours are spreading of Stasisist extremists working with criminal organization to attempt to stall negotiations. Furthering suspicions is the loss of a datatape from the Scarran delegation. The Scarrans are claiming they have been the victim of espionage and refuse to participate in any diplomatic efforts until the datatape is recovered. In other parts of the galaxy, a squad of Kaiju razed the city of Ttttttllckckckckckckckckck, an Arachnid colony on the fifth moon of Beta Eridani V. An Arachnid force eventually swarmed and overcame the Kaiju, but not before high casualties were inflicted. All of these are addictive and the clinic has been prepared with the proper tools to deal with the dangerous withdrawal symptoms. The set of the film Love in the Jungle has been thrown into chaos with the loss of much of the primary filming crew on Quadratus and with them the bulk of production funding. The director, cinematographer, and boom operator have all vanished in the night. Rumour has it that the director and cinematographer, both married, were conducting an affair and the gossip on set points towards an elopement. The boom operator's role in events is still a mystery. Production has been put on hold, and the studio says that the film may be cancelled, due to a series of setbacks culminating in this scandal. Producers and stars are furious at the development and have announced plans to press charges against the film crew.
